KNITTELCynthia C. "Cindy"Age 54, of Ingram, passed away suddenly at home on the morning of Saturday, November 26, 2016. Cindy was born on August 11, 1962 in Pittsburgh and was the much-loved daughter of Ruth (Chahine) Knittel and the late Joseph F. Knittel, Sr. Cindy was the beloved sister of three older brothers, Gary (Chris), Joseph (Marcie) and Robert (Janette) Knittel. She was also the loving "Aunt Cindy" to two generations of nieces and nephews. Cindy loved all of them, and she enjoyed seeing and hearing about how their lives were changing. Cindy will be missed, greatly, by her family and friends. Cindy graduated from Montour High School and from Robert Morris University. After living much of her adult life in Florida and Georgia working for Westinghouse, Cindy returned home to Pittsburgh nine years ago to spend more time with her family. For years, Cindy enjoyed working the night shift as a cashier at Walmart, and she became a friend to many of her co-workers. During the last couple of years, she was able to spend more time with and care for her mother at their home. Visitation and Memorial service will be private.
