Daniel S. Hirschfeld

Daniel S. Hirschfeld, age 61, of Irwin, formerly of Pittsburgh, peacefully passed away after a long illness on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.  Beloved husband of 24 years to Kristine (Opalko) Hirschfeld.  Loving father of Patrick Hirschfeld; son of the late Robert and Dolores (Flannery)Hirschfeld; brother of Jerry (Leyla) Hirschfeld and Trudy (Gene) Baumgarten; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Daniel was a former volunteer for the Salvation Army.  Relatives and friends received Sunday, February 25, 2024, from 1-6 at SCHEPNER-McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 165 Noble Avenue, Pittsburgh (Crafton) PA 15205.  Funeral prayer Monday, February 26, 2024, at 11AM at the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St Raphael the Archangel Parish, St. Margaret of Scotland Church, 310 Mansfield Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15220 at 12 PM.  Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers contributions in Dan's memory may be made to Pittsburgh Veteran Firefighters Association, 154 Browns Hill Road, Valencia, PA 16059-3106 or the American Heart Association, P.O.
