Age 84, of Marietta, GA passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 4, 2020. Beloved wife of Carroll F. Clark; mother of Scott Clark and Doug (Michelle) Clark; dear grandmother of Andrew and Hannah; sister of Avie Swafford and the late Chet Smotherman and Paul Russon, Jr.; also survived by nieces and nephews. Ruth spent most of her life teaching music. As per her wishes, there will be no viewing. A Celebration of Life service will be announced. Arrangements by SCHEPNER-McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Ruth's name to a charity of one's choice. www.schepnermcdermott.com.
