"Emma" age 83, unexpectedly on Thursday, August 16, 2018. Beloved wife of 60 years to Ronald Dempsey; mother of Kenneth (Bonnie) Smith and Ronald Dempsey, Jr.; grandmother of Christian and the late Ronald Dempsey III; sister of Benjamin "Buddy" (Nell) Herndon, Joyce Bennett, Brenda (Tony) Pinnix, and Diane (Jay) Melander; also many nieces, nephews, and friends, and her beloved pet, Rascal. Emma was a former employee of Giant Eagle for over 30 years and she will be missed by all who knew her. Family and friends received MONDAY ONLY 1-3 and 6-9 p.m., at the SCHEPNER - MCDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, 165 Noble Ave., Crafton. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Ascension Worship Site of St. Philip Parish, 115 Berry St., Pgh., PA 15205.
