PETTIGREWJOAN D. (GREER)Age 85, of Ingram, PA, beloved wife of the late Robert H. Pettigrew, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 11, 2017, the day that would have been her beloved Bob's 90th birthday. Joan was the sweet and loving mother of Kathy (Mark) Gilligan, Karen (Wayne) Eichner, Keith (Charlene) Pettigrew and Kevin (Pam) Pettigrew; "Nana" will be sadly missed by her much adored grandchildren, Jason (Karla) Gilligan, Renae (Jason) Vreeland, Rachel (David) Gray, Jessica (Timothy) DiVito, Erica Pettigrew, Stephen Pettigrew, Crystal Pettigrew, Amber (Randy) Diggins, Olivia (Robert) Fanzo and Elauna Pettigrew; and great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Joshua, Kellyn, Bailey, Nathan, Dane, Brennen and Kevin. She was the daughter of the late Anna Mae and Andrew Greer; and sister to Jack (late MaryAnn "Babe") and Timothy (Joan) Greer and Carol (Jim) Montgomery, the late Andrew (Bernie) Greer and the late William (Alberta) Greer; and sister-in-law of Anne (late John) Wuenstel and Janyce (late John) Schmalz. She was loved by an abundance of nieces, nephews and friends. One of those friends, Lois (Mayer) Kijowski, was fond of saying, she always considered Joan to be her "second Mom". Joan lived with her family in Ingram for over 60 years. Since the time she was a little girl, she often visited family and was fond of saying that "my suitcase is always packed!" Besides the "magic house" in Ingram, she and Bob had a small cottage at Conneaut Lake where they spent many happy years hosting family and friends. Joan's smile lit up the room and her heart would warm up anyone who knew her. She had a unique way of making everybody feel special and to know they were loved. She will be deeply missed. Visitation SUNDAY ONLY 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the SCHEPNER - McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 165 Noble Ave., Crafton, where the Blessing Service will be held 11 a.m. Monday.
