ANSELMJohn G.Age 84, formerly of Sheraden, went to meet the Lord on Saturday, August 19, 2017. Beloved husband of 50 years to Jan; devoted father to David (Darlene) Anselm, Beth (Shawn) Swaney, Jill (Michael) Mozick, Shawn (Emily) Anselm; Pap to Brian Anselm, Miranda Mozick, Josh Anselm, Autumn Mozick, Sydnee Mozick, Turner Anselm, Raven Mozick, Trinity Anselm, Maslen Anselm, Cooper Anselm, Cross Swaney and the late Pauline Mozick. Brother-in-law of Jim (Jennifer) Caldwell; brother of Ruth (Ray) Sevacko; uncle to many nieces and nephews. John served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict and was a City of Pittsburgh Firefighter for 34 years. He was a past Commander of the V.F.W Post 418, was involved at The Pulaski Club in the West End. John enjoyed hunting and fishing with his boys. He loved to go to ballgames to watch his grandkids play. He also loved to bowl. John served as a lecture for many years at Holy Innocents Parish. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. Relatives and friends received Tuesday 6-8 PM & Wednesday 1-8 PM at the SCHEPNER-McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC, 165 Noble Ave., Crafton. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 11 AM at St. Philip Catholic Church, Crafton.
