Kathryn Gizler

GIZLERKATHRYN (DONIA)Kathryn "Honey" Gizler, age 90, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on Monday, September 25, 2017, at the Canyonlands Care Center in Moab, Utah. Kathryn was born in Westmoreland County, PA. She was raised in the Lawrenceville neighborhood of Pittsburgh, where she met and married the late John B. Gizler, who passed away in 1999. Beloved mother of John (Elaine), Jr., of Moab, Utah and Keith (the late Theresa), of Phoenix, Arizona; grandmother of Rev. John B. Gizler III, Mark (Kasey) Gizler, and Caitlin Gizler; great- grandmother of Grant and Garet Gizler; sister of Vito Donia, the late Frances Sweeney, the late Rita Becker, and the late Marie Eakman. She will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of the Canyonlands Care Center for the kind and compassionate care. Memorial contributions in Kathryn's name may be made to Canyonlands Care Center, 390 Williams Way, Moab, Utah, 84532.
