Bruce W. Bivert
Age 67, of Canonsburg, formerly Ingram. Passed away Monday March 1, 2021. Bruce was a proud alumnus of Allegheny College where he studied Economics and learned to cook by living in the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity house. He was successful in the mortgage banking business and was formerly employed for years by the Kissell Corporation/Sears Mortgage Corporation, Washington Mutual and PNC. He was a avid golfer and member of the Montour Heights Country Club for over 40 years. He was also a lover of all Pittsburgh sports teams. Bruce was known for his boisterous laugh and big heart; He loved entertaining over the holidays and hosting celebrations for his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He especially enjoyed being with uncles, aunts and cousins, his extended Mareno family from Ingram, The Marino, Brandy and Caliguire families. Bruce was the beloved son of Norma (Mareno) and the late Larry Pyzola; brother of Debra (Sam) Patti, Rhonda Painter, Samantha (Jim) Routh and the Late Gale McCullough; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. As per Bruce's wishes, there will be NO VISITATION, family and friends are invited to the Mass Of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Bernard Catholic Church, (St. Michael Archangel Parish) 311 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon, PA 15216. As per CDC regulations face masks and social distancing are required.. Arrangements by Schepner-McDermott Funeral Home, Inc., 165 Noble Avenue, Crafton PA 15205. In Lieu flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Bruce's Name to a charity of your choice.
