Charles J. "Charlie" Thornburg

Charles J. "Charlie" Thornburg, age 15, of Ingram, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023, after a skateboarding accident.  Beloved son of Roger (Jennifer Mitchell) Thornburg and the late Karen Schmude; brother of Katlyn, Amber, Zachary, Landon, and Roman; grandson of Denise Ball and the late Virginia Thornburg; also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Charlie was a freshman at Montour High School and also attended the Culinary Program at Parkway West Technical School.  He enjoyed skateboarding, cooking, music, reading and was an avid Star Wars fan.  Relatives and friends received Wednesday & Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at SCHEPNER-McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 165 Noble Avenue, Crafton where funeral service will be held at 10 AM.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Charlie’s memory may be made to The American Autism Association, P.O.
