Obituary

Clara M. (McDonald) Parke, age 98, formerly of Elliott, peacefully on Tuesday, February 14, 2023.  Beloved wife of the late Albert A. Parke.  Loving mother of Tina Cain, former husband Rob, of Crafton Heights; cherished grandmother of Kristen Cain and adoring Great-Grammy of Dylan, Austyn, and Bella.  She was preceded in death by her brother of John J. McDonald of Robinson and sister Barbara A. Schmitt of Crafton Heights.  Clara retired in 1997 after 34 years in the Langley High School Cafeteria and was a volunteer for many years at the West End Elliott Meals on Wheels and the American Cancer Society.  Relatives and friends received Friday 2-8 PM at SCHEPNER-McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 165 Noble Avenue, Crafton.  Funeral prayer Saturday 9:30 AM at the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Philip Catholic Church, 50 W.
