In the early hours of Friday, the 28 January 2022, Colleen (Chubarov/Lebak) Strosnider was called back to be with her savior. She held several jobs over the years, the most recent were with Chartwell and the City of Pittsburgh. She was a frequent haunt of the local Bingo halls and enjoyed making beautiful artwork using a variety of crafting mediums. Ultimately, the treatments she needed in her fight against cancer was too much for her heart to sustain. She fought a valiant fight through her life against all the health-related hurdles thrown at her; she can now stay her sword and rest having shed her mortal coil. Colleen was preceded in death by her adored mother, Dorothy Lebak. She is survived by her husband Charles Strosnider and Papillon Peanut. Sister of Linda (Larry) Jones, Gary (Jacqueline) Lebak, Daniel (Christi) Lebak, Aloysius (Linda) Hauck; mother of Robert (Angela) Chubarov, Dana (Dan) Chubarov, Brian Strosnider, Michael (Kristen) Strosnider. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and many, many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Relatives and friends received Tuesday 6-8 PM and Wednesday 1-3 & 6-8 PM at SCHEPNER-McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 165 Noble Avenue, Crafton. Funeral prayer Thursday 8:15 AM at the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. Philip Church, 50 W. Crafton Avenue, Crafton. Interment National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
