DAVID E. SIMEONE

Age 51, of Kennedy Township. Unexpectedly on Friday August 20, 2021.  Beloved husband of Lisa (Efferin) Simeone. Preceded in death by parents Patrick and Angeline Simeone. Dear brother of Renee (Tim) IoIe, Doreen (Bill) Longo, Teresa (Arnold) Thimons, Patrick and the late John, Quentin (Chuck), and Raymond Simeone; son-in-law of Linda Barthelemy; brother-in-law of Scott (Angel) Efferin, Stephanie (Mike) Long, Megan (Ken) Krall; uncle of Dominic, Sophia, Angela, Timmy, Renah, Elisha, Angela, Nicole, Arnold, Ryan, Jeremy, Molly, Michael, Ava, Mackenzie, Emily, Nicolas, and Anthony. Special godfather of Mila. Sadly missed by longtime friends, Ed Taylor and Brian Barthelemy. David was a member of local #6 and employed by Schindler Elevator for over 20 years. He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. The family will receive friends from 2 to 8 pm Monday at the Schepner-McDermott Funeral Home 165 Noble Ave. Crafton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 am at St. Malachay Catholic Church Archangel Gabriel Parish Kennedy Twp. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in David's name to the Miracle League of the South Hills, 1551 Mayview Rd., Pgh., PA 15241.
