DENNIS R. PENDLETON

Age 70, formerly of Crafton, received his gold wings on August 7, 2020, after a short battle with pneumonia in Allegheny General Hospital. Son of the late Horace and Carolyn (Matalic) Pendleton; survived by his loving brothers, Paul (deceased Frances), Robert (Linda), Ronald (Diane), Kenneth (Mary Grace), and Michael (Mary) Pendleton. Also survived by 11 nieces and nephews and the Merakey family of Allegheny Valley School, Coraopolis, where he resided happily for over 30 years. Dennis excelled in the Special Olympics and especially enjoyed trips to the beach. Like his father, he was an aviation enthusiast. His keen and fun pastime was superheros. Family and friends received FRIDAY ONLY 2-8 p.m. at the SCHEPNER-McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 165 Noble Ave., Crafton, 412-921-3661. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday 10 a.m. in St. Philip Catholic Church, 50 W. Crafton Ave., Crafton. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
