Dolores M. "Doll" Longwell

LONGWELLDOLORES M.Dolores M. "Doll" Longwell, 90, died Friday, September 2nd, surrounded by family. Doll was the faithful wife of William E. "Ernie" Longwell for 66 years before his passing; a loving and supportive mother to William E. "Cook" Longwell, Jr. (deceased), David Longwell, Judy Black, and Stephen (Jodi) Longwell; and a fantastic grandmother to eight grateful grandchildren. Doll was additionally blessed with ten great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great- nephews. Doll was the daughter of the late Harold "Sonny" and Mary "Marie" Leonard. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert C. Leonard, Sr. and her sister, Mary Elizabeth "Betty" McClorey. Doll worked happily and proudly for many years as a grocery store deli manager while maintaining strong relationships within her family. She was a very generous person who loved dogs and loved to laugh. She fostered family togetherness leaving behind countless, wonderful memories. She was truly one of a kind and words cannot express how much she will be missed. Visitation will be Friday, September 9th, from 1-3p.m. and 6-8p.m. at SCHEPNER-MCDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 165 Noble Avenue, Crafton, PA 15205. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Margaret of Scotland Parish, 310 Mansfield Avenue, Green Tree, PA 15220 on Saturday, September 10th at 10:00 a.m. followed by entombment at Resurrection Cemetery & Mausoleum, 100 Resurrection Road, Moon Township, PA 15108 To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Dolores M.
