Donald Pritchard Obituary

Donald Frank Pritchard, age 73, passed away peacefully in his Green Tree home with his family by his side on the morning of Saturday, March 19, 2022. Beloved husband of 48 years to Kathleen (Dellenbach) Pritchard. Father of Todd (Desiree) and Brady (Stephanie) Pritchard. Pap-pap of Kasteel and Kairon. Brother of Nancy (Rich) Baker and the late Kenneth Pritchard. Brother-in-law of Margaret (late Joseph) Ravas. Also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. Don was a decorated Vietnam Veteran with the US Army, Big Red One, First Division Alpha-Troop 1/4 Cavalry. Don was an avid fisherman and hunter, he was deeply influenced by his grandfather, Frank Dzadony. Most of all, his love and devotion, was to his family, who always came first. In retirement, his greatest joy was traveling with Kathleen and close friends. Don spent 48 years of employment split between Duquense Light and the First Energy Nuclear Power Company. Visitation Tuesday only 1-3 and 6-8 pm at the SCHEPNER-MCDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC.,165 Noble Ave., Crafton. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am Wednesday at the Parish of St. Raphael Archangel, St. Margaret of Scotland Church. Burial will be with full Military Honors in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Don's name to the Hillman Cancer Center, 5115 Centre Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15232.
