Evelyn C. "Sister" Koss

Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side, on Sunday March 21, 2021 at her Greentree City / Chicken Hill home.  Beloved mother of Douglas, Richard, Russell and the late Shawn Koss.  Dear Grandmother of Mark, Tracey, Heather and David.  Also 10 great grand-children, nieces, nephews and friends, and her dedicated congregation.  Evelyn was predeceased by her siblings, Marcella, Joan, John "Jack", Elsie and Marilyn.  Evelyn was second oldest growing up in Oakdale and took on many family responsibilities, which drove her strong work ethic to serve others through out her life and career. Evelyn was a long time waitress and former employee of the Dormont Eat' n Park. Later retiring as a caregiver at age 72. She will be dearly missed.  Family and friends received Saturday Only 2 to 6 pm at the Schepner-McDermott Funeral Home 165 Noble Ave, Crafton 15205.  Where at 6:00 p.m. Saturday,  Words of Remembrance will be held.  PER CDC REGULATIONS FACIAL MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCEING ARE REQUIRED.  In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions made be made in Evelyns name to Jehovah Witnesses, 900 Red Mills Road, Wallkill, NY 12589.
