Evelyn O. (Otey) Mucha

Evelyn (Otey) Boylan Mucha, age 86, of McKees Rocks, passed away very peacefully with her sons by her side, on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, after battling several health issues.  She was preceded in death by her husbands Michael Boylan and Michael Mucha.  Along with being a devoted wife and loving mother Evelyn epitomized woman empowerment.  She entered the work force at an early age.  She worked for many years in the Banking Industry and is a PNC Bank Retiree.  She played a major role in implementing the direct deposit payroll system.  Evelyn was able to retire at an early age and pursue her passion to travel.  Along with traveling she loved to read and enjoyed the fine arts.  She set a fine example for her family and will be dearly missed.  Evelyn is survived by her sons Mike, Eric (Maxine), and Alan Boylan; brother Don Otey.  She is also survived by nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two nieces and one nephew.  Relatives and friends received Tuesday 1-3 & 5-7 PM at SCHEPNER-McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 165 Noble Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15205 where a Blessing Service will be held Wednesday 10 AM.
