Gloria E. Gill, age 74, McKees Rocks, was welcomed into the kingdom of Heaven on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at UPMC Mercy Hospital with her son at her side. Born on August 1, 1947, in McKees Rocks, she was the daughter of Luke F. and Mary Ann (Grgurich) Gill. Gloria attended high school at St. Francis de Sales and continued her education at Robert Morris College where she earned an associate's degree. Gloria later met her husband, David F. Bott and in 1985 became the beloved mother of Luke Adam Gill. Gloria always desired to have a son. As Luke got older their bond grew stronger and her love for him undeniable. In 2020, a lifelong dream of becoming a grandmother came true when her granddaughter, Everleigh was born and again in 2021 with grandson, Luke. She was known as Mee-maw to her grandkids, cherished every moment with them. She also had a passion for reading, writing, and had a great appreciation for art. Gloria was strongly devoted to her faith with God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband David Bott, brothers Tom and Luke, sister Bernie and her loyal dog of 13 years, Toby. She is survived by her son Luke and his wife Jessica (Frank) Gill; two grandchildren Everleigh Rose and Luke Adam, Jr. Relatives and friends are welcome Tuesday 5-8 PM at SCHEPNER-McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 165 Noble Avenue, Crafton where a Blessing Service remembering Gloria will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM.
