James J. "Duke" Schneider, Sr.

James J. "Duke" Schneider, Sr., age 85, of Crafton, passed away peacefully, on Monday, March 18, 2024.  Beloved husband of 64 years to Margaret (Ciak) Schneider.   Loving father of John (Annette) Schneider, Vicky (Keith) Henefeld, Kelly (Jim) Jansen, Erin (Dave) Oddi, Stanley (Debi) Schneider, Christopher Schneider, and the late James "Jimboy" Schneider, Jr.  Cherished grandfather of Jonathan, Jamie, Tiffany, Taylore, Tyler, Jordan, Lindsey, Chelsea, Brianna, Kolyn, Zach.; great-grandfather Jameson, Kayde, Beau, Finley, Reau, and soon to be Gabriel; brother of Tim (Emily) Schneider, Tom (Marcia) Schneider, and Robert Schneider, Jr; also survived by nieces and nephews.  Duke was an avid hunter, fisherman and member of the Goodwill Hill Hunting and Fishing Club.  James was a proud veteran of the US Coast Guard.   

Relatives and friends received Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 2-7 PM at SCHEPNER-McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 165 Noble Avenue, Crafton.  Funeral prayer Friday 10 AM at the funeral home followed by interment with full military honors at Holy Souls Cemetery, Robinson Township.
