John "Jack" Loftus

John “Jack” Loftus, age 92, long time Crafton resident passed away peacefully on Thursday June 1, 2023.  Beloved husband of 72 years to Jacque, his high school sweetheart.  Loving father of Sandy (John) Mikus and the late Gary (surviving spouse Susan) Loftus.  Proud grandfather of Julie (John), Michelle (Joe), Greg (Amanda), Jeff (Kate), Joy, and Jill.  Adoring great-grandfather of Joey, Raylan, and Jack.  Brother of the late Maye Bosley and Eileen Wagner.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Jack was a US Air Force veteran who served during the Korean War and was a former member of the F&AM Chartiers Valley Lodge 747 now the Pittsburgh Masonic Lodge 725.  He will be sadly missed by his family, good neighbors, & many friends.  Jack always had a smile on his face, a pocket full of Toast Grabbers, and the American flag flying on his front porch. 

Family and friends received Wednesday 1-3 pm & 6-8 pm at the SCHEPNER-McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC. 168 Noble Ave Crafton, PA 15205.  Prayers and goodbyes will be offered at the funeral home Thursday at 10 am followed by the funeral service at 11 am at the Crafton United Presbyterian Church 80 Bradford Ave Crafton 15205.  Interment with full military honors will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
