Katherine (Sutherland) "Katie" Fazio

Age 67, of Crafton, tragically passed away due to an automobile accident, on Sunday, December 12, 2021. Beloved wife of 46 years to Timothy Fazio; cherished mother of Jennifer (Matthew) Trigona, T.J., and Matthew (Jess) Fazio; adored Nana of Nicolo and Italia Trigona and Thea and Josie and one on the way Baby Fazio; sister of Anne (Thomas) Watson of Chesterfield, VA, and Alexandra Jane Crisci of Mechanicsburg, PA and the late Mary (surviving spouse Craig) Dublin of Reading, PA. Also preceded in death by her parents, Alexander and Rita (Dougherty) Sutherland. Sadly missed by sisters-in-law, Chris Yeschke, Irene (Vincent "Jim") and Mary Lee Fazio; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Katie was a former teacher in St. Philip, St. Simon & Jude, St. Bernard, and the PA Cyber Schools until retirement. She was also very involved in the Crafton community and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. As per Katie's wishes, there will be NO VIEWING. Arrangements by SCHEPNER-MCDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, Crafton, PA. Family and friends are invited to the Mass of Christian Burial 10 A.M. Wednesday, December 15th, in St. Philip Catholic Church followed by burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Kennedy Township.
