Kathleen Ann (Lageman) McVicker

Kathleen Ann Young (Lageman) McVicker, age 87, of Bridgeville and Myrtle Beach, passed away peacefully with her husband Rich by her side on Saturday, June 17, 2023.  Widow of Paul Gerard Lageman Jr.  Beloved wife of 21 years of Richard John McVicker.   Loving mother of Christopher (Danielle) Lageman Sr and Elizabeth (Patrick) Roche.  Loving “Gma” to Christopher (Mary Kate) Lageman Jr, Kathleen (Nick) DeRose, Patricia Lageman and Zachary Camp.  Sister of Marjorie (Warren) Johnson, the late James (Carol) Young and the late Richard (Celeste) Young.  Best friend of Elaine Jarvis.  Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Kathy graduated from Crafton High School in 1953.  She was married to Paul for 36 years until his passing in 1993.  They raised their two children, Chris and Betsie in Crafton.  She worked in accounting departments for various firms and happily retired at age 70.   She was also a professional seamstress and enjoyed making Halloween costumes for her grandchildren.  She was blessed with a second great love and married Rich in 2002.  The family is grateful to, Rich for his devotion and care of Kathy, especially these last few years.  They enjoyed their retirement in Bridgeville and Myrtle Beach.  She loved spending time with her family and friends in both locations.

Relatives and friends received Friday 2-8 PM at SCHEPNER-McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 165 Noble Avenue, Crafton.  Funeral Prayer Saturday 9 AM at the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM in St. Philip Catholic Church, 50 W. Crafton Avenue, Crafton
