Killian C. Dougherty, age 28, of Crafton, unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 22, 2021.  Loving father of Killian C. Dougherty, Jr.  Beloved husband of Samantha James; son of James and Susan Dougherty; twin brother of Terrence “Terry” Dougherty and brother Rory-James Dougherty; grandson of Julie Lipps; nephew of John “Johnny” Lipps, Terrence “Terry” Dougherty and Noreen Crowell; godson of Paul Baserman. Killian is a radiant creative soul. He excelled academically, as well as athletically. He was a gifted chess player, winning many accolades. Of all his achievements he is most noted for his ability to empathize with the hearts of those he loved - his special charm extended even to those he met briefly. He brought a golden light into a dark world, a light that not even death can vanquish. He will always shine in our thoughts, smiles, and tears and most brightly through his beautiful son's sweet countenance.   Relatives and friends received Friday, October 1, 2021 from 4-8 PM at SCHEPNER-McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC. where a funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.  Interment Private.
