Margaret "Peggy" (Sukaly) Sabatowski, age 88, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 19, 2023, after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Peggy attended McKees Rocks High School where she met her high school sweetheart, Ray. She followed Ray to El Paso, Texas where he was stationed in the US Army and they married and started a family. Her main focus, however, was caring for her family. She was generous to a fault with the love and support she gave to her family and she was well known for making the best halupki in the world. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Raymond, with whom she would have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in September of 2023. Peggy is also survived by daughters Linda (Jerry) Danhires, Reyne Jablonski (Jan Medoff) and son John "Jay" Sabatowski. She leaves behind 4 granddaughters, Sara (Todd) Cornetti, Emily Magee, Erica McGrath and Chelsey Weinheimer, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her lifelong friend of over 80 years, Flo Dickenson. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Mary Sukaly and all 8 of her siblings.
