Michael David "Mick" Cowden

Michael David "Mick" Cowden, age 63, of Pittsburgh, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 26, 2023.  Beloved son of the late David and Mary (Zablocki) Cowden.  Brother of Jeanie (Gary) Stevens of Slovan, PA and the late Mary Anne (Cowden) Lewis; uncle of Richard " Louie", Michael, Kelly, John, and Joe; great-uncle of Zac, Trevor, Connor, Alexis, Cassidy, Emma, Violet, Brant, Hazel, Axel, and Roman; great-great-uncle of Haisley.  Mick was self-employed for many years prior to becoming a City of Pittsburgh Firefighter and EMS.  He was a jack of all trades and was always willing to help people in need and friend to all.  Relatives and friends received Saturday, February 4, 2023, from 10 AM until time of the Funeral Service at 12 PM at SCHEPNER-McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 165 Noble Avenue, Crafton.  Interment to follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Burgettstown.
