Pamela L. Bruce

Pamela Lynn Bruce was born September 27,1958 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvanian to the late Charles Webster Bruce and Althea Elizabeth Bruce. Pam fell asleep in death at home surrounded by family on July 31, 2022.

Pam - known as “Pom Pom“, “Pomp” and “Lamala” was one of seven children. She was raised in a loving and nurturing household in the Northside of Pittsburgh.

She went through the Pittsburgh Public School system and went on to attend Wilberforce University in Cincinnati Ohio, where she majored in Accounting and Computer Technology. She worked for large corporations such as Johnson & Johnson, IBM and AT&T.

Pam loved to cook - almost as much as we all loved to eat her food. Anyone walking into her house could always expect to have good food and a full belly. With a “here put some this on it” and a “go light the grill” - wherever she was, it was time to eat.

Pam had a nickname for every one of her Nieces and Nephews, just ask them! Pam was a true friend and took care of all those who she loved - down to the giving them the shirt off of her back.

She leaves behind her loving family - siblings Charles W, Bruce, Jr., Dee, Terrance (Cynthia) Bruce, John (Edna) Bruce, Candice (Shawn) Mack and Linda Bruce - who lovingly and tirelessly cared for her until the end.

She also leaves behind many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends as well as her many nieces, nephews and even great-nieces and great-nephews - who all adored their “Aunt Pam”, “Aunt Pammy” and “Muggah”!

There will be a small ceremony held at Emerald Garden’s Clubhouse, 2400 Village Rd, 15205. on August 17th; at 5:00 PM,
