Richard R. Pickering

Richard R. Pickering, age 72, of Scott Township, unexpectedly lost his life to cancer on Sunday, February 27, 2022.  Beloved husband of Lois (Donahue) Pickering.  Father of Brandi Pickering, her husband Jonathan Harmatz and Jarrod Pickering; stepfather of David Murrman, his wife Heather and Michael Murrman; grandfather of Ezra, Sebastian, Jarrod Jr, and MacKenzie; brother of Julie Burkett and Raymond Pickering.  Against all odds, Richard became a successful self-made businessman.  In his free time, he enjoyed gardening and baking, and was also a world traveler.  Relatives and friends received Wednesday, March 2, 2022, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at SCHEPNER-McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 165 Noble Avenue, Crafton.  The family invites everyone to join them between the hours of 4 to 6 PM on Wednesday for refreshments at The Craftonian Hall next to the funeral home.
