Robert James McCloskey

Robert James McCloskey, age 69, of Bethel Park, formerly of Crafton, peacefully on Tuesday, September 13, 2022.  Beloved father of Robert Thomas McCloskey; brother of Donna McCloskey and Dennis (Patty) McCloskey; uncle of Anthony McCloskey; former husband of Joyce McCloskey; also survived by favorite pet Matilda.  Robert was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Elizabeth (Yahner) McCloskey. He was a member of the Greater Pittsburgh Ten Pin Bowlers Association and the Steel City Amateur Radio Club.  Robert enjoyed bowling, Ham radios, cooking, golf, and NASCAR Racing.  Relatives and friends received Monday 1-3 & 6-8 PM at SCHEPNER-McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 165 Noble Avenue, Crafton.  Funeral prayer Tuesday 9:15 AM at the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Ascension Church of St. Philip Parish.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Robert’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association; Greater Pennsylvania, 2835 E.
