Rose G. Givvin

Age 96, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 27, 2020. Wife of the late Joseph Givvin, Sr.; beloved mother of James (Michelle) Givvin, Mary Alice Tigner, Joseph Givvin, Jr. (Linda); grandmother of Jason (Megan) Givvin, Alicia (Jason Crossland) Givvin, Ashley (Rory) Duncan, Tyler Givvin; great-grandmother of Jackson Givvin. Rose was a Crafton resident for 68 years where she spread joy and friendship to everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed by all of those lives she touched. Visitation FRIDAY ONLY, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the SCHEPNER-MCDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME INC., 165 Noble Ave., Crafton. A Private Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Phillip Church where Rose was a devoted active member and where she was known as a maker of Rosaries for people everywhere, also a lifelong member of the Legion of Mary. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Philip’s Catholic School, 52 W. Crafton Ave. PGH, PA 15205 or the Little Sisters of the Poor, 1028 Benton Ave., PGH 15212. A celebration of life gathering to be announced later. To be in compliance with CDC regulations, masks to be worn with no more than 25 people at a time.
