Sebastian Dedola

Sebastian Dedola, age 86, of Crafton, peacefully on Monday, November 21, 2022.  Beloved husband of the late Lena (James) Dedola.  Loving father of Salvatore “Sam” (Dawn) Dedola and David (Lori) Dedola; cherished grandfather of Salvatore (Katie), Guy (Julia), Dean (Lindy), David (Leah), Dominic, Dante, and the late Mary Dedola; brother of the late Giovanna, John “Tony”, and Petronilla “Patty”; also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.   Sebastian was proud of his Italian heritage and was born in Pattada, Sardegna, Italy.  He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Society, Knights of Columbus #875 and was a CIT Pony League manager for 25 years.  Sebastian enjoyed being a bingo caller, playing golf, and bowling.  Relatives and friends received Friday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at SCHEPNER-McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 165 Noble Avenue, Crafton.  Funeral prayer Saturday 9 AM at the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in The Parish of St. Raphael the Archangel, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 330 3rd Avenue, Carnegie.  In lieu of flowers contributions in Sebastian’s memory may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, 1501 Reedsdale Street # 3003, Pittsburgh, PA 15233 or www.svdppitt.org.
