Theresa P. (Stibrik) Kranick

Theresa P. (Stibrik) Kranick, of Crafton, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023.  Theresa was predeceased by her husband, Edward, in July of 2022.  Theresa and Ed celebrated 63 years of marriage.  Dear mother of Karen Lee (Gregory) Druga of Leesburg, VA, and Ken (Ginger) Kranick of Tampa, FL; loving grandmother of Nicholas Kranick, Alex Kranick and Elliott Druga.  Theresa was a devout Catholic and was a friend to everyone.  Theresa was born in Pittsburgh and grew up in the neighborhood, of Greenfield and graduated from Allderdice High School. Before getting married, Theresa worked at Kaufmann’s Department Store in downtown Pittsburgh.  She was a longtime resident of the Herschel Field House in Elliott.  Theresa enjoyed watching the Pirates and doing crossword puzzles and, as a recent resident of Overlook Green Assisted Living, was the Bingo Queen.  Ed and Theresa kept active playing tennis and walking miles around Crafton Park and enjoyed going to The Meadows Racetrack.  We would like to thank the Overlook Green staff and friends for their care and as a welcoming community.

Relatives and friends received Wednesday 4-7 PM at SCHEPNER-McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 165 Noble Avenue, Crafton.  Funeral prayer Thursday 10:00 AM at the funeral home following by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Philip Catholic Church, 50 W. Crafton Avenue, Crafton.  Interment to follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
