Thomas C. Pellegrino

Thomas C. Pellegrino, age 75, of Crafton, peacefully on Wednesday, February 8, 2023.  Beloved husband of Susan D. O’Connell.  Loving father of Thomas J. Pellegrino and his wife Carrie Griffith of Zephyrhills, FL and Diane Pellegrino Levin and her husband Stephen of Tampa, FL; cherished grandfather of David Hicks, Samuel Levin, and Sarah Levin; brother of Sister Marie Antoinette Pellegrino, OSF; son of the late Bruno Joseph and Antoinette Sylvia (Romano) Pellegrino.  Thomas graduated from North Allegheny High School in 1965 and from the University of Pittsburgh in 1977.  When he was teenager, he started a Civil Air Patrol Group where his father later became wing commander Lt. Colonel. He briefly served in the US Army Reserves.   Thomas retired from the Allstate Insurance Company.  He was also a former member of the Crafton Borough Council, the Allegheny County Democratic Committee, and Crafton Celebrates.  Relatives and friends received Thursday, February 16, 2023, from 5-7 PM at SCHEPNER-McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 165 Noble Avenue, Crafton where a Funeral Prayer will be held Thursday at 7 PM.  Interment Private.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday 11:30 AM at the Craftonian Hall, 48 Division Street, Crafton, PA 15205.   In lieu of flowers, donations in Thomas’ memory may be made to St. Philip Parish, 114 Berry Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15205 or The Franciscan Sisters of Allegany, 115 East Main Street, Allegany, NY 14706.
