William Patrick Shaw, age 69, longtime resident of Crafton, originally from Whittier, CA, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2023. Father of John (Katie) of Meadville, Jeffrey (Autumn) Fernley, NV and Jaimee Shaw of Apollo, PA; brother of Michael Shaw, Jack Day, and the late Kathy Lindquist; son of the late John and Sherill (Henderson) Shaw; also survived by his dog Jasper. After Graduating Basic in San Diego, he was stationed aboard the USS Hull for 2 years, then Midway Island Naval Air Station for 4years, then Port Hueneme, CA. until discharge, where he prepared Naval personnel to travel to Naval Air Station McMurdo in Antarctica. William owned Shaw’s Beer Distributor for over 25 years and loved smoking cigars. As per William’s wishes, service and interment are private.
