William P. Shields

William P. Shields, age 58, of Carnegie, formerly of Crafton passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 4, 2023.  Beloved son of the late William and Helen (Englert) Shields.  Brother of Mark, Paul (Anne-Marie), John (Marlene), Ann (John Cromie), James (Kirsten), Robert, Mary, and Louise (Stan Drogowski); also survived nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.  Bill was a lifelong Pirates Fan and bird lover.  He was an experimental chef at H.J. Heinz, conference coordinator for the Doubletree in Cranberry Township and was the night manager at Shop-N-Save in Westwood for over 30 years.  Bill was well loved by his family and friends and will be dearly missed.  Relatives and friends received Thursday 1-3 & 6-8 PM at SCHEPNER-McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC, 165 Noble Avenue, Crafton.  Funeral prayer Friday 9:30 AM at the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Philip Catholic Church, 50 W.
